Energy and Water Law. Georgi Dimitrov Attorneys is a noticeable participant in rendering legal services in the energy sector and water law in the Republic of Macedonia. Some of our projects are • Advising an Italian based energy company on the public procurement procedure for purchase of a state owned thermo power plant, including legal due diligence of the plant and its position in the energy market in Macedonia • Advising an Italian based energy company on the public procurement procedure for DBOT (Design, Build, Operate and Transfer) hydropower plants in Cebren and Galiste on the Crna River • Advising the Macedonian subsidiary of the major Italian company in production of industrial gases in the energy dispute with the Macedonian Operator of Electric Grid (MEPSO) • Advising a Macedonian company on the construction and operation of a first private gas power plant in Skopje • Advising the Czech Republic company in legal matters connected with the rehabilitation, management and operation of seven hydro plants in Macedonia • Drafted the Law on water communities in the frames of the contract concluded between the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water economy and The World Bank • Drafted the Law on water organizations in the frames of the contract concluded between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and The World Bank.
